Santa Fe Car Accident Leaves Two Dead

On Friday, October 19, 2012, a west-bound Chevy truck driven by Charles Orsak (29) rear-ended a jeep driven by Sharon Zakkizadeh (65) on Highway 6 in Santa Fe, Texas.  Zakkizadeh was ejected fro the jeep upon impact.  The jeep was knocked forward into oncoming traffic where it collided with a Honda driven by Joseph Seymour (58).

Zakkizadeh and Seymour were pronounced dead at the scene. Orsak was rushed to UTMB Galveston in critical condition.  No charges have been filed at this time but the investigation continues into the cause of this car accident.  There has been no indication of alcohol or drugs being a factor at this time.

Anytime an accident involving a death occurs, the police are required to do a comprehensive accident investigation to attempt to determine the cause.  Measurements and extensive photos are typically taken during this process.  This type of investigation can be very beneficial to a wrongful death attorney in establishing proof of the cause of the collision. It should be available in this case after the police investigation is concluded.
