The Bystander Law in Texas

In Texas, a person may have a cause of action for severe emotional distress experienced as a result of witnessing a serious accident.  However, whether the claim is recognized by the Law may depend on entirely a number odd factors including the relationship of the parties involved, the proximity of the claimant to the event and what they saw or heard.
